Winter Harp is hosting a harp competition this year in recognition of our 30th anniversary. The competition piece, On Gossamer Wings, was composed by Winter Harp Artistic Director Lori Pappajohn in honour of the 30th anniversary. This modern romantic piece is for lever or pedal harp. We hope many of you enter!
Open to BC residents. Participants will receive adjudication comments from the judges.
There will be 2 winners for best overall performance: one from Vancouver Island, another from the BC mainland. The winners will each get to play a carol on stage with Winter Harp in their respective communities. In the event that one of the winners is unable to perform with Winter Harp, a runner up may have the opportunity.
On Gossamer Wings sheet music is $15. Registration fee is $30.

Registration deadline is October 15, 11:59 pm. Video deadline is November 6, 11:59 pm.

Participants must video themselves performing the piece in one take and upload it to youtube
Please upload your video to your YouTube channel (or a friend’s). Upload it as ‘unlisted’

The winners will be announced the third or fourth week in November.
